I have some concerns about the statements printouts though.

Dr Scarlett Logsdon replied:

Hi Brandie : Please give Linda a call tomorrow about your concers. We are here to serve you .

My whole family goes to see Dr Logsdon . We are two adults and three children and they accomodate us in a way that we can be seen the same day always.

My youngest twins really look forward to their cleanings twice a year , the doctor had to pull some of their teeth out before they got their braces and she was absolutely wonderful.

Dr Logsdon is the best dentist I have ever had. She is very easy going and personable. She knows how to explain needed treatment and is very gentle and compassionate. I much needed gum treatment but keep putting it off until I met her, when she bought the office from Dr Davis. Initially I was reluctant to having deep cleanings but she explained the relationship with gum disease and my health overall . I then started taking better care of my teeth at home and bought a water pik, as they suggested. My gums are so much better and I dont haveany more bleeding. i thank her for giving me my dental health back.

While the front staff at this office is very nice and everyone appeared to be very accommodating, I was very unhappy with my visit here. First, I was delegated to the care of a temp dental hygienist. The hygienist was very nice and thorough, but a first time client can't assess personnel or determine the care of regular staff if in the hands of a temp.

The dental care room was old, the ceiling was damaged above me, the chair was uncomfortable and falling apart and the equipment was archaic. I did not get a good feeling about cleanliness or advanced technology in this office.

Added to all of that, I found the dentist to be unfriendly and pushy. She didn't listen to my situation or much else I had to say. But she did managed to tell me that she had to make enough money to pay bills and that her husband was somehow involved in the decisions about billing.

All of these things combined make it unlikely that I will return to this dental practice. Rather, the experience has made me sure that I would rather drive 50 minutes away to find my old dentist.
