About
Dr. Thuy Nga Vu is also known by some of her patients as Dr. Tweena. In 1990, Dr. Vu proudly completed her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. Prior to pursuing a dental education, Dr. Vu received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Loma Linda University School in 1981. She worked as neonatal intensive care unit and adult ICU nurse while preparing for and during her dental school years. Dr. Vu is highly competent in all aspects of general dentistry and relentlessly committed to providing the highest standard and personalized dental health care to her patients. Her professional experience includes years of service as a civilian dentist for the United States Army across the country while accompanying her husband during his tenure as an Army reproductive endocrinologist. Dr. Vu served as a dentist for the State of California Community Health Department in Yuba County prior to her private practice. She resides in Granite Bay with her husband and lovely children.
Dr. Vu is dedicated to delivering the highest standard and genuine personalized dental service to each and every patient she treats. She is equally committed to bringing the most technologically advanced devices and treatments to her practice through continuing advanced education and investing in only the highest-quality instruments, equipments and materials that will improve your dental outcome.
Dr. Vu has completed advanced training and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), Associate Fellowship Certification through the World Clinical Laser Institute, and is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). She is a current a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
In addition to providing excellent dental services, Dr. Vu has special interest and expertise in Aesthetic Dentistry, Full-Mouth Reconstruction, Oral Implantology, TMJ & Neuromuscular Disorder, Invisalign, Lumineers and Laser Dentistry.
