At General Automotive Servicenter, we pride ourselves on providing top quality automotive repair services at very competitive rates. We are a family owned and operated business which has been serving the residents and businesses of Montgomery County Maryland since 1979. At General Automotive Servicenter we provide automotive repair services for both foreign and domestic cars and trucks. We are conveniently located in the Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg, Maryland. From this convenient location we are able to service residents and businesses throughout the county.

General Automotive Servicenter first opened it's doors in 1979. General Automotive Servicenter started as a "family business". This family business had three owners, Howard Lindsey, Cecil Schawartzbeck and Van Randle. While it was not a traditional "family business" in that the three owners were not immediate family members, however the concept and values of "family" was always present. Through the years the business has grown into a traditional "family business" with Howard Lindsey and his wife Danielle purchasing the business from his partners and bringing in his two sons John Lindsey and Jamie Lindsey to assist in the day to day operations of the business. Danielle works off site and maintains the financial operations of the business.

In addition to the concept of "family", this business began with the concept of providing quality service to a customer at a more economical price. In the beginning, all three original owners worked at a dealer and all agreed that the customers could have received better service in addition to more cost effective repairs. General Automotive Servicenter was created with this idea in mind. This concept still rings true today.

General Automotive Servicenter is still servicing the Montgomery County community today using these same basic principals. At General Automotive Servicenter we choose to be a "small business" because it is the only way we feel we can maintain the quality of the repair and maintain good quality working relationships with our customers. General Automotive Servicenter's current family includes the above mentioned owners and three additional service technicians. All technicians are ASE Certified, Maryland State Inspectors.
