My rating is based on color not cut. I had gone for a cut before and was pleased, so I decided to go for highlights and lowlights. I have never been so disappointed. The highlights never even changed the roots of my hair. I was left with an inch of brown roots! After my hair was blown dry, I pointed out that I still had roots. She said that that was the problem with highlights. I was confused bc in my 10 plus years of getting highlights, I had never been left with roots. She also didn't do the low lights as a brown tone as I had asked (so that I could blend it with my natural color better, as I felt I was too blond). I voiced my disappointment, but she never offered to fix it. I actually made an appointment with another salon next week to fix my color. I know for a fact that that salon will fix your color if you are disappointed, bc my sister goes there and they had to do it for her when she first started. I have a theory that the reason I still have and inch of roots is bc the color on my roots didn't have time to lift. I have never been moved from the waiting chair and off to rinse so quickly!!! It was a waste of money and everyone who has seen my hair cannot believe that I just had it highlighted...that is how horrible the roots are!
