Gen-Plus, Inc. replied:
I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with us. We do not include batteries as part of our startup cost. We charge a set fee for the startup plus a battery, if needed (they're always an additional charge), if the customer doesn't supply one. As far as being told to check the oil level, that is an automated email that goes out to our customer's periodically, as a courtesy, based on the manufacturer's recommendations.
