Dr. Kim has ZERO bedside manner. Insurance co will NOT pay for items that office person assured me WOULD be covered......about $500 or so...

The dentist asked how I felt. I replied, "Mentally or physically?" (I despise having my mouth/teeth worked on and always request nitrous oxide.) She replied, "I don't care how you feel mentally." No, I won't be back to see her.

They won't tell you what ISN'T covered by your insurance, you'll just get a bill for it later in the mail.

I needed my wisdom teeth removed so that I can get braces later. My dental insurance changed recently so this was my first visit with this office. It was a great visit start to finish. Everyone was super nice and took time explaining everything. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. And I will be encouraging my family and friends to use this location!

I scheduled an appt.for cleaning. I also asked to be called back before my appt. if there was a problem with my insurance. I did not hear back. I went for my scheduled appt. and asked the receptionist if she was able to verify they accepted my insurance. She assured me they did. Waited 35 minutes to see the dentist - then was told I would not be having my teeth cleaned that day (needed to schedule another appt). The Office Manager said they needed to contact my Insurance Co. and the office would be calling me back. I called 2 days later and was told "they" were working on it. It has now been 1 week today, have not heard back---extremely disappointed in the service. I'm sure this office will not have a problem submitting my "bill" to the insurance company for payment for exam and x-rays.

My first visit to this facility was horrible.i had to wait for 2 hours and finally got inside and took several xrays.I had a very bad experience with their dr.KIM,I have never seen a dr with bad bedside manner like her .she just adjusted my head down in the chair without telling me and she didnt even introduce her.then i got directed to the cleaning section thats what i really come for and have got already made me sign for the rate they are charging before i got inside anyways.i met their hygenist meredith got my measurements of gums to check pocketing again

and she said she cant do my cleaning and said needs to get my wisdom teeth out.i have been doing cleaning 3 time a year with my wisdom teeth on .when i mentioned this she told she have to talk with dr and she came back and said may need deeper cleaning and insurance doesnt pay for it.i still dont know what play they were doing there.SHAME on this kind of facilities who doesnt even know what they are doing!!!!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They really take good care of their patients and family. I went for a root canal didn't feel a thing was comfortable and very pleased. They even kept my husband up to date on how well it was going. Awesome dental experience.

Before going to this office I have had very bad experiences with dentists. After a cleaning, teeth extracted and fillings being refilled, I have renewed faith again. Dr. Grimes and the staff of Gentle Dental are amazing. They are respectful, and good at making you feel at ease during treatments. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.
