The receptionist seemed to like to charge me more than the amount I should pay. After I questioned about the amount and double checked with my records, she told me the correct amount. At March 17th 11:44am, I went there for my dental appointment, checked in, the receptionist said that the hygienist was absent. But nobody had ever contacted me ahead of time, she said she left a message to me, however she was lying, all my phones didn't get any voice mail on that day.
Hello Mr. Zhang,
Sorry about the misunderstanding about the payment issue. There was no extra charges that was charged to your account. We spoke to your wife and she is very happy with the explanation we gave her.
Due to the COVID 19 on March 17, 2020, Alberta Dental Association and College has order all dental offices in Alberta to stop doing any non-emergency dental treatment. Once we received the instruction we immediately called our patients to cancel their appointments. We apologize that you missed our phone calls that day, we are not sure what was the reasons. Our phone record indicated we called you at 10:07 am and 10:08 am that morning at your 228 number. We acknowledge you took great effort to come to see us and you must be very disappointed that your appointment was cancelled. It's never desirable for any patient to show up and find out their appointment is cancelled. It is a trying time these days, but we still will review our policy and procedures and see how we can avoid this from happening again. We appreciate that you gave us the feedback for us to improve our services. We hope you are doing well and stay safe in this trying time. Thank you for your understanding and hope this resolve your concerns.please feel free to let us know if we could be of any further help.
