Dishonest. Unaccountable for mistakes. Taking advantage of customers when they are in need.
Does that sound like the place you want to take your vehicle?
The bottom line is we were in from out of town, and like a lot of people, googled a good repair shop for BMWs, and landed on GAS for it's good reviews. What we got was anything but a good experience, and ultimately disappointed in how unethical they were about everything from mistakes they made, to the parts they recommended replacing, to the prices they were charging for those parts.
This place while seemingly professional and honest up front, took advantage of us for $2000. We're fine to pay for things we need, it's not the price of repairs that matters, it's how unethical they were about it. They mis-diagnosed a major issue, and also heavily recommended a full brake service 10,000 miles before it was due. Charged us FULL price for both, with well over 2X retail markup on parts. Then when it came time to fix their misdiagnosis, they charged us to replace a $500 part that even BMW doesn't recommend for this service. This is just the classic auto-repair system where they act like everything wrong they did was the customer's fault and responsibility. They had no accountability for their mistakes.
When speaking with the owner John, he indicated that they would "definitely take care of us on the price" to correct his technician's missteps. Yeah, that didn't happen. The original labor and parts were still on there for fixing the WRONG thing, and he applied a $300 discount to the actual repair that we needed. The problem? He marked up all the parts $500 OVER street price (the price an average Joe can buy it for), meaning the "discount" was just deception to make it look like he was doing us a favor. Just plain dishonest.
Don't go here. Period. Stay far away.
