Gilbert Veterinary Hospital is proud of our longevity in the community caring for animals. We have been located just south of the corner of Ray and Gilbert Roads for over 30 years. Dr. Beverly Scott joined the hospital in 1978, which was owned by Dr. John Woods, and bought the practice in 1979. Gilbert Vet was the first and remains one of the few privately owned small animal hospitals in Gilbert. We are an AAHA accredited hospital, which means we have passed the stringent standards required by the American Animal Hospital Association. We have 7 doctors and 25 staff members who provide professional, compassionate care for your special dog and cat companions.

We took our kitty in for shots and a check-up due to allergies. Her care was handled in the usual professional manner, with an exam, a call from the vet, and drop-off- and pick-up service due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
She came home tired but relaxed, and is feeling much better today.
Despite the public health emergency, Gilbert Veterinary Hospital is doing an excellent job of caring for our pet.

As usual it was great!! The care that is given to our dogs is truly amazing. Dr. Scott and her team alway go the extra for our family - I wouldn't go any where else!!! Darcy and Bree greet our dogs like he/she is there own- I love it and so do my dogs and cats!!!!!

The entire staff at Gilbert Veterinary Hospital is kind, caring, and thoughtful. It is so apparent that they always have the very best interest of my pup as their top priority. Dr. Dudley is extraordinary and so attentive to my pup's unique needs. She patiently explained treatment options, gave us her recommendations, and answered all of our questions. I called last Friday for refill and they never called me to pick it up. Tuesday I called again and my request was never put into the system. They quickly got the refill ready yesterday but my dog was without his medicine for several days. Other than that, they are a great Vet and you can tell they love animals.
