The experience not meet my expectations. I

So when I call to schedule my 1st appointment I tell the receptionist I need to come in to get my teeth cleaned. She schedules my appointment. I arrive on the day of my appointment and I'm taken to the back. I am seen by the dentist and who I assume is her assistant. Sometime during the appointment the assistant asks if I have an appointment with the hygienist. I tell her I assume I do, since when I called to make the appointment I said I needed to make an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. She returns to the exam room and says I didn't have an appointment with the hygienist, but I would be able to schedule one once we were done. I get to the front and the young lady schedules me for a month out to see the hygienist. I would have appreciated if it was explained to me when I made the appointment that there was the need to schedule a SEPARATE appointment to get my teeth cleaned, which is the reason I was calling to make an appointment in the first place!!!

Fast forward to my appointment with the hygienist...I arrived at 12:23pm for my 1pm dental cleaning appointment. I was finally taken to the back at 1:30pm. The hygienist was nice. The biggest issue I had with her, before she starts the cleaning, she tells me "I'm going to put this jelly like substance on your teeth and gums. It helps me to see if there is plaque." That was it!!! She NEVER said this jelly like substance would NUMB my entire mouth. I don't think that is acceptable at all. If you are going to put something in my mouth that is going to alter the feeling I have it should be explained thoroughly! Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Kristen (I think I spelled it right) the Hygienist was Superb!

I was there for 2 hours to get an x-ray and teeth cleaning. I was not able to see the dentist, so had to be rescheduled. I felt like it was more waiting than I would like it to be for a dentist appointment on a Monday at 10 am since that is not a high traffic time.
