Everyone is very helpful. The staff and orthodontist really care about their patients. The office is well ran. They have locations all over Houston so it is easy to find one near my house. I am glad that we chose GMS.

Thank you. I appreciate the care but the only negative I have is that when you get treatment in the orthodontist office, there's not a lot information shared. It would be nice when you get braces/retainer that they would give you at least a cheat sheet if not clear verbal instructions on caring for them and things that need to be treated quickly if something breaks, etc. I had to ask questions if I needed to know something and I certainly didn't know much. I would say communication to patient could be a lot better. The positive is that visits are fast, I guess. I also really appreciated Monica and Jordan. They were also really good at accommodating us with appointments which is a big plus for me. They are very pleasant.

I have had my braces for four years when I was told to only have them for 12-18 months from my first doctor. I have had 3-4 doctors since. The wait to be taken in is from 20-30 minutes. The longest I have waited is an hour and fifteen excluding the time I waited three hours because the doctor left without checking to see if he had any patients left or wasn't notified. In addition the new staff within the last couples of months I have had problems. Especially since my last appointment where the person who took care of me had trouble the entire time. When she was taking off my cheerios she poked at my gums twice and when she was taking out the wire the pliers slipped and hit the back left-side of my mouth. There was so much trouble with the wire that she called another assistant who was rude and frustrated (my guess because she couldn't get the wire off either). When she finally did take off the wire she also broke a bracket. To replace that bracket she had to take the glue off of my tooth with a tool that is obviously dangerous if not used cautiously. And with that tool she did the opposite of just that, she was going really fast around my tooth she ended up cutting my lip twice. She said I jumped and did not apologize afterwards. When the doctor came she left.

If it weren't for the wait time, I'd give GMS 5 stars. Appointment time was set for 8:30 and their start time was 9:42! If this happens during school days, my child will miss out on a lot of class time!
