Since being a patient for many years, I was disappointed to see another new hygienist and dr. Not knowing my background, many comments were made to me about my teeth that were already known to me, and several times I mentioned to them to check previous x-rays or to look in my chart referring to the issues they were discussing that had already been addressed. This made me uncomfortable because they not being familiar with me, their patient, I was concerned about redundant procedures. It took four try's for the hygienist to take a bit wing because the x-ray machine wouldn't work, finally the reason was the adjoining door to the other cleaning room was open, disabling the x-ray to work. The bite wings were inserted and taken out all of these 4 try's. My mouth was sore from this. She told me she had worked there before....shouldn't she have known this?
The dentist took 1 peek in my mouth and said "bone loss and crowns". I guess her checking my x-rays warranted the $49 charge. I don't know, just left feeling not good about the whole experience.
I have always had a good experience at Grace Dentistry, but this time was not the best at all. I hope things will get better for them!
