In general I’m always very happy with the front office staff and medical staff. Having been going here for years with excellent insurance coverage. However this time I was disappointed because the staff did not make it clear that I had scheduled and was paying for an out of network appointment because your offices are not approved by my insurance for orthodontic evaluation or care. I discovered that fact DURING the appointment and then when following up with my insurance who informed me that I would have paid $34 instead of $100 had I done the appointment with an approved office. When I called to discuss this with Gramercy Park Dental I was told that the front office has new staff and they could not confirm what information i was given in booking the appointment. I can confirm that I was not told the cost was out of network. I feel your offices should refund the difference in cost as I was not accurately informed that I was booking and paying for something out of network. $66 as refund.
