I had a great experience with Grand Avenue Veterinary Hospital. Renee was friendly and helpful when we checked in. Dr. Robinson took her time to go through my dog's extensive medical history. I wish I would have found out about the clinic sooner.

They are always willing to help with anything, and are really great at answering questions. They treat my pets like they'd treat their own. They also follow up after appointments to make sure everyone's still doing well.

The staff took their time with my fearful dog to make her comfortable before working on her. Everyone did their best to make her visit a positive experience and I really appreciated the extra time and effort.

I was not impressed with my first visit to Grand Avenue Vet Hospital. I took my dog in for a skin problem, and Dr. Robinson didn't touch my dog once. She didn't do any of the things I would expect on every office visit, especially the first. She didn't check his eyes, ears, heart. She didn't even pet him or give him a treat. She didn't visually exam the problem areas. I'm not sure why I was charged for a physical exam, as the receipt states. And she didn't seem to know what she was doing. At all. I'm not sure how this place has gotten such great reviews on Facebook, but I will not be returning. The only saving grace--the reason I marked 2 stars instead of 1--is that the rest of the staff was very friendly.

Thank you for you feedback. We are sorry that your pet was so nervous and fearful to visit our clinic and you were unsatisfied, our goal is to provide care in the least stressful manner as possible and as discussed, handling your pet for a full exam during the appointment would not have been in his best interest. We are happy to provide a full examination under sedation as Dr. Robinson offered, if necessary. I do apologize, however, that the charge on your receipt was misleading. It should have read as a Consultation instead of a Physical Exam/Office Call for the extended amount of time discussing your pet's behaviors, but the fee is the same for both.
