Been coming here since the late 80s as a small child, and have never thought about going somewhere else. Paul managed a great practice, and somehow managed to impart all of that onto Deter as well. It feels like the same friendly practice I've been going to the last 35 years. I sincerely enjoy coming to the dentist, even though I know they are going to rightfully chastise me for not flossing enough :)
The staff make any location, and the staff here are incredible. There is a long list of employees I have gotten to know over the years, Dr. Knauss, Pat, Michelle, Kim, Lori, Julie, Catherine...the list goes on. And every new employee seems to fit in just great as well, like Cayla and Vanessa, just two of the great employees who I've had the pleasure of meeting recently.
Sometimes places just aren't the same when ownership transfers; we've all had a favorite restaurant or bar change hands and it is just never what it was. Not the case at all here. It feels like the exact same place I've been coming to my whole life, and I'm confident it's a place I can keep coming back to for the next 35 years.

They provide excellent care. They are very compassionate, and take the time to explain everything they are going to do. I have dental anxiety, and they make me feel safe!

The folks at Granite Dental Group are better than most when it comes to dental care. Growing up during the era when dentistry was painful and downright frightening, and then even finding a caring empathetic practice as an adult was an exercise in endurance, leaves our family with sincere gratitude for all the folks at Granite Dental Group. Being referred to Granite Dental over twenty years ago answered a pray for the wimps in our family and friends circle. They truly care about you as a person and every single tooth in your mouth with respect, kindness and the best technology to educate and involve their patients in personal dental care.

Since our family arrival in Barrington nearly 17 years ago, our family has received excellent dental care from the past and present staff of Granite Dental.....
My recent visit also reflected this excellent service from the receptionists at the front desk, dental hygienists, and ultimately from Dr. Knauss.
Competent, caring, and courteous qualities of service have always been a hallmark of the doctors and staff.
