When I was a kid in the pre-flouride 50's, our family dentist believed that a skilled practitioner need use no numbing agents when filling cavities. At the same time, he employed a wonderful hygienist. Consequently, I grew up dreading the pain inflicted on me when teeth needed drilling and filling, while looking forward to semi-annual cleanings. Knowing that, you might share my (and my wife's) intense joy in finding a practice staffed with highly skilled practitioners, all of whom regard patient comfort a worthy goal -- a goal they achieve consistently. In the years we've been patients, I have been treated by four of dentists and two hygienists, along with several other special helpers. All have been delightful. If you have any sort of fear of undergoing dental procedures, trust me -- you won't feel any pain. For folks with a past similar to mine, I highly recommend the nitrous oxide. It costs a little more but helps you achieve a comfortable, relaxed state of mine, and it clears from your system very quickly so it's safe to drive home or to the office afterward. This is a great practice. If you need a dentist, or want to make a change, give them a call.
