They took almost 1 full week to do a job that should have taken only up to 1 day. But, that wasn't the problem -- the issue stemmed from their total lack of communication in updating me as to the status of the service. Then on the morning I was supposed to pick my vehicle up after explaining my time crunch for that day in advance, it was parked on the side street and there was no sense of urgency while I waited. The service seemed okay, minus the undercarriage noise that I thought was being addressed with the fix. I was able to meet a mechanic at a later time for that to be taken care of. All in all, a very subpar experience.
We apologize for your subpar experience. While we don't have very many repairs that fit this scenario, we do have difficulty getting the parts needed to make certain repairs. Once the correct parts arrive that car is one of the next cars brought back into the shop to be repaired. As to the point about communications, we work almost exclusively by telephone. Email communication is a lower priority for us as we are constantly on the phone ordering parts, scheduling appointments, and discussing repairs with customers. I recommend phone communications for a timely response.

Apparently there was some confusion about this appointment as it was made for a service that involved a transmission service. We called after the B level inspection was completed to advise of the cost of all the recommended services and was given the authorization. Only at the time the car was picked up was there a questioning of the needs for those services. This car is used primarily for short trips, As a consequence, and despite the low mileage, the fuel injection needed cleaning. We reduced the charges as a good will adjustment, not because the services were not needed. The customer agreed to the settlement.
