Had my oil changed last Friday. The mechanic ended up damaging the oil pan (the seal) in the bottom of the Porsche. The car leaked the oil out after 24 hours making mess everywhere I parked it (only noticed it in my own garage after the night of it dripping). They did try to help, which is nice but useless when it comes to practice. I lost time and money with them.I waited for at least an hour and a half as the mechanic was checking out the damage. He then asked me to bring it back another day as he concluded he needed to change the pan.
I ended up bringing the car to the Porsche service.where they fixed it without an appointment as it was an urgent matter ( as the car was undrivable). Never again! They didn’t even offer a refund!
Greenwich Shell replied:
Ms. Coureau, Again let us apologize for your poor experience, as we were handicapped to fully correct on a Saturday evening. The small oil leak was from the aluminum crush washer that makes the drain plug seal. It comes in the kit with the oil filter. It is a one-time use seal, and being as this part became defective on a Saturday evening, we offered to repair on Monday morning when the replacement part was available. We never refused to refund your money as you didn't give us the option. Regards, Guido Constant.

Chris & his team are great.
Chris always makes time to explain what needs to be done and the best approach to solve an issue and he always gives practical choices so I can make the right decision.
Chris' team is very experienced and knowledgeable, they have come through with solving some of the most challenging problems with my cars. I am a big fan of oldies and you cannot find too many people around who can fix these old cars let alone take them in for repair.
