As usual Greg's fixed my issue quickly and efficiently, However, as I need a new battery, my radio did not work after the battery was changed (it needed a code). I did not notice this immediately when I picked up the car. I returned to Greg's and Brad fixed the problem in no time. However, when a battery is changed in a Honda, the code should be entered into the radio so it works properly when the customer picks up his car.

I have been a loyal customer for about 27 years and will continue to use Greg's for my automotive repairs and service. Great Job.

We initially brought our '92 Subaru in due to an issue with the transmission. After the technicians at Greg's ran diagnostics, they determined the best option was to replace the transmission. They ordered a used transmission and installed it. Within the week when driving it on the freeway we noticed that 4th gear was not engaging. We took it back to Greg's and they confirmed the problem and replaced it under warranty. The replacement transmission functioned, but was rough to engage. Within a few weeks it was beginning to develop the same issue that caused us to bring the car in to begin with. Not wanting to keep cycling through replacement transmissions, I suggested a rebuilt transmission as opposed to a salvage yard transmission. It cost us an additional $1700 to do this, but both the team at Greg's and my family were tired of finding bad transmissions in our car. They pulled the last transmission off the car and sent it to be rebuilt. We picked up the car yesterday. So far so good. Greg's was good about honoring their warranty. I know for a fact that they lost money on the whole transaction. They made sure that my car was restored to good condition, even though it cost them any profits for this visit. My other car will need a clutch soon, and I will probably bring it to Greg's.

Curtis Robertson is an excellent service writer. He will describe the problems that need to be addressed, provide a fair quote, proposed amount of time for repairs, and honor quotes. Curtis will walk you into the garage if your car's on the rack and show you the issues your car has, and will offer options, there's no hard sell here. Greg's provides courtesy shuttle service and will pick you up after repairs. Greg's in Renton does what they say they will do.

The end cost seemed more than I would have expected, but it's unclear whether all of the things they needed were really necessary or not. I haven't gotten a chance yet to drive my car very much, but for the time being things seem more or less ok.
