I asked for 5 Red Brown repeatedly and was given 6 & 7 Red Brown. I’m frustrated. I understand that I needed color correction but not listen to a client is not right. I needed someone who would listen and consult. My cosmetologist was sweet but her advice from her senior was Ill given. I stayed my hair was almost correct. The top was messed up but they proceeded with darker hair all over
I am disappointed
Hair Smithsonian replied:
I'm sorry that you feel like your hair color isn't what you wanted. Ashley did a level 5 on your base, and a level 6 on your ends, because previously colored hair can process darker. Level 5 is darker than a level 6 or 7, and in your consultation, you said you didn't want to be much darker, which is why we chose the level that we did. if you would like, you can come back in and we can do a level 5 to make you darker.

I love Carrie. She is phenomenal at her job. Although my hair didn’t turn out exactly how I had hoped she was so sweet and willing to fix it. The issue wasn’t her fault in any way either. I will continue to have her do my hair and recommend her to anyone that asks.

Kristin McCarter is an amazing hairr stylist. I come in looking drab and come out feeling positive about myself. I feel extremely welcomed to the salon by Taylor F. I love the atmosphere at Hair Smithsonian, it's not dull and drab it's classy.
