I am a regular and have been for 3 years. The experience at this location has slowly become less than it has been in the past. It has become more like a “Supercuts” than a progressive men’s-focused spa that I had come to know.
1. low energy vibe
2. Lighting in this place is all wrong. Cold hue, and bad angles
3. I arrived 5-7min late to my most recent appt. and my hair stylist seemed agitated and rushed. (I felt I had to direct the dialog to help enjoy the time). I feel she is always concerned about time vs being there for me.
4. The few days before my last appt I got a call and text message to please come in 15 min early to accommodate a schedule change. The text the night before my appt had offered a free upgrade to Kings cut if I came in early. I responded “OK” and then planned to come in early. I called to confirm :30min before my appt and was told that “no, I was no longer needed to come in early”. And was never given the King’s cut. Really confusing and disappointing
5. Why can my stylist remember to trim my ear-hair. I’m 50+ yrs old, and have the need for ear and eyebrow trim. I’ve asked multiple times but she never does it unless I ask. (My previous regular stylist at Hair MW would do this standard)
