Dr Hamilton was great. The man at the front- John? Was abrupt, curt, and used terms only he understood. He never smiled and was the antithesis of welcoming. If Dr Hamilton wasn’t so great I would consider not returning because of him.

I haven't gotten an eye exam in over a decade which was noted on my paperwork. I was taken back for my eye exam, they had a trainee + with trainer helping me. I understand the trainee was still learning - but there was no explanation of what they were doing or what would happen with each machine.. "Stick your head here" "Look this way" (all while something was going to POKE me in the eye with no warning) The trainer could have easily seen how uncomfortable I was - and maybe stepped in. Training is important, and allowing the trainee to begin operating independently is also important. But the trainer was doing a disservice to the trainee by not showing them how to properly manage an appt and EXPLAIN the process to the customer. Customer service/satisfaction should be the primary concern and supersedes training. I felt more like cattle being herded through a chute than an actual person that was there to address my vision concerns.

Dr. Sara is firmly entrenched in our family's "Circle of Trust." Besides her intelligence, compassion, kindness, sense of humor, humility and dedication to pets *and* their people, she understands when the "cure" is truly worse than the disease. She understands dog behavior and has been incredibly helpful with resources and strategies when we've been overwhelmed and bewildered. Simply stated, we adore Dr. Sara. We cannot imagine a finer provider. Our standing joke with her is that we'll be transferring our medical records so she can provide our care too. That might sound weird until understanding that our dogs receive more thorough, informed, coordinated and compassionate care than their parents sometimes have. She works hard to instill the same values in her staff, so the technicians are pleasant, helpful and smart. Oh -- and charges at the practice? They are incredibly reasonable: whether an annual exam, dental with anesthesia, x-rays or IV infusions, this is a No Gouging Zone.
