Bedford Commons Periodontics was originally founded by Dr. Charles Neal on July 17, 1974, at 321 Lincoln Street in Manchester. It was the first periodontal practice to open in all of Manchester, and in fact, only the third to open in the entire state of New Hampshire, the first two having opened in Nashua. After the practice grew, and was incorporated in 1978, it was renamed Charles D. Neal, D.M.D., P.A. (Professional Association).
