From when you first walk in the door you are greeted by Pam who is so pleasant and professional. You are made to feel comfortable immediately. Linda is also very pleasant and professional. She is also very knowledgeable. She keeps track of each patient and guides them through their therapy with individual care to meet each patients needs. In just two visits I already have increased range of motion in my shoulder from Linda's therapy.

I spent 4 months having occupational therapy with Linda. She was professional, kind, caring and very knowledgeable . I also found Pam in the office to be very professional and caring. The results I achieved exceeded even my surgeons expectations. I would recommend Institute for Hand and Upper Extremity to anyone.

Linda is an awesome physical therapist. She has helped me with my physical recovery after 3 surgeries and is helping me deal with the emotional difficulties after having an amputation. She has been very supportive during my recovery and I wouldn't be able to get through it without her.

I do not believe you can find a more professional, caring skilled hand therapist who puts her patients care and treatments her number one priority. Every therapy session has been a good experience where you are asked many times during your session if everything is ok, do you need anything and are carefully and closely monitored. I have been given the attention and care needed each appointment and have found Linda a very personable and competent therapist. When I injured my hand and was referred to Linda from the first phone call to make the initial appointment 4 months ago, all my questions, concerns and uncertainty about my injury were addressed in a way that I understood why she chose the therapy I received. I have often said the best thing that happened from my injury was getting to meet Linda and be under her care and also meet Pam, the pleasant and kind voice who arranged my appointments and helped make me feel comfortable and at ease when I first started my therapy.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended The Institute for Hand and Upper Extremity Physical Therapy when I broke my wrist. I was very happy with the progress I made under Linda Stanley's care. As a yoga teacher and an athlete, it was important for me to get as much range of motion back as I could. Linda helped me achieve my goals. As of this writing it has been a little over 4 months since my surgery and my wrist is doing great! I am back to doing everything I was doing before I broke it. (And I do things like handstands and push ups.!). Besides Linda's skill as a therapist, she and her staff are warm and friendly, the space is attractive, and I really liked the motivational quotes she has on her wall. Linda promotes healing for the mind as well as the body.

If you have the need for hand or arm therapy services, I would tell you to look nowhere else.

The first place I was sent to for therapy took one look at the doctors script and they looked perplexed. I had a feeling that they didn't have the confidence of treating my case. They promptly gave me a few pages of "homework" and a slip of paper with Linda's office number on it.

First impressions were off the chart. Linda accepted my case with enthusiasm and the confidence I needed to see. The open atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the nurturing push towards improvement encouraged me every step of the way. Ten weeks later I am far from where I began and further than I was before.

I started as a patient and left as a friend.

If you need the services of The institute for Hand and Upper Extremity, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
