Aaron took care of my repair needs once again. My 1992 Chevy truck had a shifting indicator and ignition hang-up for years. I finally decided to do something about it. Harris Automotive took care of the problem for a reasonable price and made me a happy customer! Harris Automotive has become my "go to" shop!
I have taken 2 vehicles to Harris Automotive, Westerville for repairs over the past three months and have received outstanding service. Harris' prices appear fair and equitable. I have primarily coordinated my repairs with Aaron Wille in Westerville, and he has always been professional and courteous in all transactions. Aaron is a credit to the Harris organization. I give Harris. 5 star rating and will continue to have my vehicle repairs done at this outstanding facility! Rex Smith
My experience at Harris Automotive is always pleasant. I was only a little annoyed that my confirmation via email said 10am, but when arrived they said the appointment was 10:45. Not sure where the break in communication was an extra hour wasted of my only day off in the week.
Unfortunately this visit didn't goes as well as we had hoped. I set up an 8am appointment for a maintenance package and it wasn't until 4pm, when we stopped in, we found out it wasn't started because they had questions about other repairs. They had both phone numbers and never bother to call. Why schedule an appointment and leave phone numbers, they're not going to be honored. We sat waiting for over 30 minutes while the tech did the package except the tire rotation was never done. We had a bad experience with that before and now mark our mark out tire when going in for a rotation. What else wasn't done in this package? The offer was for $33+ and we paid over $44 to have only half the work down in less time than it should have taken? The reason I made the appointment was so I didn't have to sit around and watch to make sure the work was done when requested, not eight hours later. Another question, why wasn't the bad oil pan noticed on previous visits, they were informed of the oil on the garage floor and we were told it was fine. Does this make any sense? They did give us a thorough list of what needed to be fixed. Close to $500 worth! Your a small, neighborhood business and we like supporting that. You beat the dealership hands down, they would have kept the van for three days to change the wipers and charge a couple hundred for it. I'm was tempted to make these comments anonymously just so we could continue going there without repercussions.
Harris did a nice job replacing a starter for a decent price. My only comment (and this isn't entirely Harris' fault) was that it took them 4 full days to replace. Again, partly my fault for dropping it off on Memorial Day and not touching base with them until late Tuesday. I know there were several cars already dropped off and probably several that already appointments. However, it would have been nice had someone called first thing Tuesday morning just to say it was going to take that long. At that point I may have elected to bring it back or go somewhere else as this was my sons car (that lives on campus and works at Easton) and needed transportation. Other than that, good service and seems to be a decent price as always. Staff is always friendly.
I have an 2007 CRV. I had a persistent brake issue after my back brakes and rotors were replaced. Thanks to the Westerville and Blacklick locations for running down the problem, and taking care of this customer. Many thanks.
