There was an assumption, by Hash,that I wanted the very best in all products and services. I would have preferred knowing that I would have to pay to top off fluids, purchase new spark plugs when they were not needed yet, buy the best oil etc.

I wanted the option to make these decisions before the work was performed.

My previous car had top notch maintenance and happened to be totalled. Therefore buying the best did not pay off, thus my decision to go middle of the road.

Hash Imports replied:

Customer was informed of the specific fluids and parts that were needed for the service, and agreed it needed to be completed. Any deviation from what is actually called for can cause damage to these components on the vehicle, therefore sometimes there is only one option when it comes to a part or fluid. Also this service was insisted by the customer to catch up with their scheduled maintenance.
