Had sort of a frustrating experience with the vet on our most recent visit.
The doctor we met with who treated our pet was someone we had never met before but she acted like we had met at some point. She also went on to push several medications for treatment for our pet including an off label non FDA approved drug which made us very uncomfortable.
On top of all of this, the care plans that both of my pets were on were mysteriously cancelled at some point with no warning and no note was left on our account to explain why they had been cancelled. So we had to go through the process of signing back up (and spending way more on our vet visit than we had anticipated).
The cherry on top of this frustrating experience was the vet tech taking forever to bring our pet out to us, only to forget our pet carrier when she finally did bring our pet out. She apologized profusely and loudly proclaimed that she should be fired which just didnt feel very professional.
I will note that everyone we dealt with was very apologetic and tried to be helpful and when we requested to not give our pet the off label medication they were fine with us declining. But the whole experience left my husband and I in a funk the rest of the afternoon because it felt like the whole staff of the office went from being trusted professionals that we know and have worked with to amateur hour filled with strangers.
