Dr Michaels' texted me the evening after my appointment to see how I was feeling. (It is normal for him to follow up like that after certain procedures.) I told him I was feeling some slight discomfort and was worried that things might get worse. He set up an appointment for me for the next day, which was the Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holidays. (He met me at his practice even though it was closed that day.) He knew that I would be stuck until the following week if things got worse. He not only remedied the situation but even did a little extra. In general, I trust Dr Michaels' expertise and straightforward communication.

Dr. Scannell is a new dentist to me. Recommended by a coworker because of location, I could not be more pleased with the convenience of the office but that doesn't begin to cover my delight in associating with him and his staff. Like a lot of people, finding a new dentist is not my favorite thing to do. When my insurance changed almost two years ago, I postponed contacting a new dentist. When I finally went to my insurance provider's website and started making calls, I finally settled on a dendist (Not Dr. Scannell) based on location according to the supposed distance from my office downtown. After waiting several weeks, the day approached and I decided to use an online mapping site to confirm the directions, which turned out to be several miles away. A co-worker contacted Dr. Scannell's office who was able to make an appointment for me the same week. I was thrilled. The experience with the office staff and the hygienist could not have been more pleasant. When my cleaning appointment and xrays revealed a degraded filling, I made an appointment for it to be replaced within the following week. Dr. Scannell not only replaced the filling but filed a chip out of a front tooth while I was there and still had me in and out of his office in 30 minutes. I recommend he and his staff highly!
