The well child, & sick child side of the waiting need to be labeled more obviously. I have been taking my kids there for months & just recently noticed that there are 2 different sections. Also since the toys are on the sick child side of the waiting area I wonder how often staff is disinfecting those toys??
High Desert Pediatrics replied:
The lobby gets disinfected nightly, and sometimes more depending on the volume of sick children in the office. The reasoning behind keeping our train table on the 'sick side' is due to the fact that parents with well children are more likely to keep their children on the well side. We do this in hopes of decreasing the amount of germs spread. Thank you for your feedback, we will certainly take it into consideration!
