At Highland Veterinary Hospital you and your pet are family to us. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care as we would want our own pets to receive. Highland Veterinary Hospital has been a part of the Highland community since 1984 and Dr. Jennifer Groehn has been the owner since 2002.
Dr. Sue Berg joined her in 2008. Many staff members have been with Highland Vet Hospital for years. Proper diagnostic test and knowledgeable full medical work-ups are standards-of-care we believe are integral in veterinary medical care. Skillful surgical treatment with modern anesthetic monitoring, in-clinic blood-work, urinalysis, regional laboratory services, high resolution digital radiography, in-house pharmacy, special-needs boarding and prescription veterinary diets are just some of the services we provide.
We look forward to meeting you and your pet and will give you the personal attention you may not receive elsewhere. At Highland Veterinary Hospital YOU ARE FAMILY!

The staff is incredibly friendly, patient, helpful, knowledgeable and receptive. I had a great experience here with our new husky and they answered all my questions and walked me through everything I needed to do or know! I'm excited that this staff is taking care of our newest addition!
The staff always offered me explanation of the issues with my pets as well as recommended treatments. They also answered all questions even when a condition was unusual or rare. Very pleased with all of my interactions with the staff. They also treated my cats like their own.
Highland Vet has always been great. I’ve been coming here here for 40 years! When Dr. Grown took over the practice, it got even better. Dr.Groehn is awesome. She really cares for your cats/dogs/others and it shows. All the vets and staff are exceptional. I highly recommend!
I don't know what I would do without them. My dogs health and well being are a top priority for me and they are able to treat and restore her to good health. Pet illnesses can be complex and painful. We are fortunate to have such skilled veterinary personnel in our community.
