I dropped of my car yesterday for an oil change and to have the service engine light checked. Not only did they change the oil, they found a nail in the tire and fixed it for free. They also suggested a tire rotation, which was something I hadn't thought about. It was finished by lunch and I was able to get by car back sooner than I thought. Great service once again. We will be back!

Thanks for letting me know the follow up on your vehicle. I know for a customer that going to two different shop for the same problem and getting two different recommendations can be frustrating. There are many legitimate reasons why a customer may get different recommendations for the same problem from different shops.
We always try to give the best advice and recommendations to all our customers. However, I would never claim to perfect.
I would be very happy for you and surprised if a transmission fluid change proves to be the correct long term solution.
Please email me after taking the vehicle on several long distance highway trips. I would like to know if the transmission light comes back on or not. If the transmission light does come back on, I will be happy to read the error code again at no cost to you.
After the turkey holiday when I get back to the shop, I will issue a refund check and mail it.
Best wishes regarding the future performance of the transmission.
