We are a three-generation family business, that has been known for high quality optical services and products for over 60 years. Currently Harold D. Munson Jr. oversees the company, and the staff manages the daily operations. Harold D. Munson is active in the State and National Opticians Associations and participates in local Chambers of Commerce groups. Area ophthalmologists recognize Hitchcock Munson as quality eyewear providers and refer to them for difficult and exacting optical requirements. More than 400,000 patients have been served in the 60-year history of the company.

All employees at Hitchcock Munson have experience in the optical field. Connecticut-licensed opticians are certified by the American Board of Opticianary and are on site at all times so that your eyeglasses will be crafted and handled correctly.
