Customer service is poor, no one greets you upon entering building...every single time.
Waits are WAY too long. Appt. was at 4 pm, we walked out at 4:34 pm. because we had another commitment. No one lets you know what is going on, as you're waiting in the room for a freakin' eternity. Happens every single time we're there. After 5 years of this, we can't tolerate it anymore. The vets themselves are fantastic, the best we've had. We'll miss them. But the waits are just way too long and the other staff members need to remember how to be courteous and SMILE to greet people when they come in. Some have been there too long, it seems and have become complacent with their jobs; barely looking up (if at all) when someone walks through the door. Just unacceptable in today's day and age. We have found a vet that is closer to home in our Five Forks area. They came highly recommended as they never make you wait more than 5 minutes from appt. time; 10 minutes at the latest. Our own doctors that we see (pediatrician, internal medicine, etc.) have never made us wait more than a 15 min. window. I reiterate, every time we've had an appt. at Holly Tree, it's been a minimum 20 - 60 minute wait...no joke! They come in all apologetic, but that isn't good enough. It's always repeated at the next scheduled appt. time. We bid 'adieu'.
We understand that there are wait times at our hospital on certain days, but as you know from your 5 years as a client, once the doctor enters your exam room he or she will stay with you until all of your questions are answered. Dr. Powell was with a very sick patient during your visit. I hope you understand that we spent similar time with your little man when he was very sick a couple of years ago. We will gladly forward allof his medical records to the hospital of your choice so you may contact us at your convenience. Please let us know if we can be of further service.
