When HOPSCOTCH opened in 1994, it pioneered a new direction in hair style. Literally. It reversed the traffic flow from East-West to West-East!
For years, people had commuted from Greenwich to Gotham, eager to combine New York style with Connecticut lifestyle. HOPSCOTCH, instead imported New York stylist to Greenwich. This novel idea of bringing a city salon to local customers saved Connecticut clients considerable time, expense, and bother. It proved valuable for both working women and mothers who could more easily fit a salon stop into a busy schedule without giving up precious family time.
Today, "Connecticut's Manhattan hair salon" continues to set new trends. Responding to a growing demand, the salon has moved to its new quarters - a sleek, sophisticated, smart salon that nearly doubles the space available for staff and customers.

Rita gave me my favorite haircut in a long time. She listened to my request, didn't take too much off where I asked her, and cut in some beautiful layers around my face. She also cuts my teen daughter's hair and does a beautiful job every time. I would highly recommend her.

Nery greeted me as soon as I came in.. She was warm and friendly and made me feel comfortable. I am not someone who is comfortable in a salon setting, but Nery seems to know that and makes the experience much easier for me. I never know what I want and she is ok with that, she asks me a few leading questions and then goes to work. I am always pleased with the results.
The rest of the staff has always been very kind and courteous as well.

I always write these reviews with hesitancy, because I don’t want my favorite salon in town to get too busy. However Nery is a fabulous stylist. I just went for a blowout, but she did a great job Hopscotch is the best salon in Greenwich, it’s local, it’s friendly and the stylists are very talented. They have a wonderful training program. I’ve been going there for over 10 years and have watched assistants become stylist and it never ceases to amaze me how they can produce such quality talent

Suzanna was terrific as always. Her facials are second to none! She also waxed my eyebrows for the first time and did an excellent job. I look forward to adding eyebrow waxing to my list of treatments.
