Having a problem with my new glasses for over a month now. I tried to schedule what would be my second appointment to get this resolved; however, now I am being told that the original Doctor can not help me and I need to see the other Doctor in the office. However, I have been told that Doctor is having family medical issues and there is no telling when he will be in the office to help me.
We would like to thank Kevin W for his review of our practice and would like to respond to his concerns regarding his new glasses. Whenever a patient struggles with a new prescription in any way, the policy of the office is to see the patient immediately to change the Rx as necessary to make the patient more comfortable. In this case, this is what Dr. Laurenzi did, as the primary doctor who initially examined Kevin. When Kevin continued to struggle with the second change in the prescription, she kindly suggested he be seen by Dr. Sinoway, the other doctor in our practice, for a second opinion. Unfortunately, Dr. Sinoway's father was in hospice care at the time, and all his patients were told that they would have to wait to see him until he returned, including Kevin. It has been and always will be the policy of our practice, to remedy our patients' concerns immediately about any issues that arise. However, in this instance, this was obviously not possible. We would like to apologize to this patient for keeping him waiting, and I believe he is scheduled in the immediate future, as the doctor has now returned. -- Dr. Sinoway's office manager --
