Open 24/7, I-20 Animal Medical Center maintains their state-of-the-art facility to provide expert and compassionate care for dogs, cats and exotic pets. Your pet receives the highest quality care from our thoroughly trained and loving staff. Established in 1980, we've provided medical care, vaccinations, surgery, boarding, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy and emergency/critical care 24 hours a day. Because each of the twelve doctors has an area of special interest and expertise in veterinary medicine, your pet benefits from their multiple areas of experience and knowledge. Dr. Cindi Welch performs advanced diagnostics and develops treatment plans for patients with complex medical issues, including cardiology, gastrointestinal, respiratory and endocrine diseases. Dr. Bonnie Bloom has advanced training in dentistry and accepts patients for both general and advanced dental care including oral surgery, orthodontics, root canals and treatment of periodontal disease. Dr. Lindsay Robinson has advanced training in exotic pet medicine and provides both care for and information about pet birds, reptiles and exotic small mammals. As a certified Cat Friendly Practice, we have special facilities and protocols, along with staff education, to ensure quality care for our feline patients. We are also one of the few hospitals in the DFW Metroplex accredited as an emergency and critical care hospital by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Though our hospital is AAHA-accredited and must pass regular inspections by AAHA, that is only one of the reasons your pet will receive the best care available in our hospital.

Everyone at facility were fantastic, from the staff at the front desk, the vet techs to Dr. Bloom herself were total professionals and caring people. My Dutch Shepherd had to have some dental work performed and Dr. Bloom took the time to explain to me how and why each procedure was done to achieve the desired finished result. Dr. Bloom doesn't try to 'sell you' the high price procedure, she will give you all the information you need to help you make a decision on the care of your pet that will leave you confident of your decision. I compete my DS so his health is very important to us as a team, and I have recommended my whole club to use Dr. Bloom for their dental work.

Sebastian, our 3 year old lab, is not around people much and afraid of most everyone except my wife and I. All of the staff are very loving with him and considerate of his fear and anxiety. He will accept treats from them and will go up to them so they will rub his head and pet him. We have boarded him there a few times and have had him in for exams and treatment. He has gotten to know the place and while still very anxious, is calmer there than other situations he is not familiar with.
Everything is done efficiently and promptly. Everyone is extremely friendly. We have vets that are closer to our home, but we drive the 30 minutes it takes to get here because it is first rate care. It is also important to us that the clinic is staffed 24/7 with a veterinarian. It is also a great benefit that you can drop your pet off for boarding anytime 24/7 and the same with picking him up. Many boarders have very limited weekend drop-off and pickup.

Again did unneccessary testing for my dog 85 is very expensive. I wish everything was not aimed at making the most amount of money and suggesting things that are not really needed.

I wish we could speak to you because I don't know the circumstances. We wish as well that lab companies and pharmacy companies did not charge so much. Our goal is to discuss with you after an examination recommendations of what is the best options and treatments. Gave a four rating because of the price. Very expensive and I would only use them for real emergencies . Overall everything else is great . The building, receptionist, clean rooms, and fast service.
