Import Specialty Service LLC replied:

Tracey, I'm sorry that you feel that our business took advantage of you. You told our people that two other shops told you that you needed front control arms. Our technicians confirmed that diagnosis with the added urgency that they represented a safety hazard. With that in mind, this repair represented a foundational issue that had to be addressed before other evaluations could occur. Our concern with that repair was getting the safety concerns addressed. When we test drove the car post-repair we had no way of knowing that another symptom would appear.

Control arms are suspension components. The noise that you asked us to identify after-the-fact is coming from the steering pump.

These are facts. We do sympathize with the impact of aggregated costs when multiple systems fail. But reluctance on our part to assume responsibility for this "bad news" has nothing to do with gender bias nor does it represent dishonesty on our part

If you feel that our business was discourteous to you in anyway please accept my personal apology. Founding partner,

Rod Kruse
