I Love going to Independence Veterinary Hospital. The Staff is so understanding and so sympatric to your pets needs as well to their owner's needs. Christine was so awesome listening and comforting me while crying my eyes out to the point I was uncontrollable trying to maintain my feelings. On July 16th when I thought my pet was suffering and I had to do the unthinkable but the humane thing to do. Christine listened to the symptoms my pet was experiencing, set an appointment for me and my baby to see the doctor the same day. When we returned for our appointment, we were greeted by Jennifer she was also Great! Our nurse Savanah was Amazingly Wonderful! She made me feel at home and relaxed me when I was still crying. She was very caring, compassionate and so kind as well as a great listener (I needed a therapist that day) Dr. Johnston came in, Oh GOSH! he saw me crying ( eyes and nose red) and was also very compassionate. He cracked jokes and said funny things to make me laugh. Dr. Johnston listen to my pet's heart, it was strong which was great news, then he accessed the rest of her body, she was a bit frail (14 years in human years) but she still had spunk! I cried waiting their for the news that I had to put my baby to rest, but Dr. Johnston explained the circle of life, answered my question and St Francis of Assisi, heard my prayer and Our GOD the Father Blessed me and my China Doll, she is NOT suffering!!! No need to have my baby rest at all except relax, give her the medication and special food Dr. Johnston prescribed to her. I am so Grateful to Dr. Johnston! He is Phenomenal!! We are patients forever and WE LOVE the Staff!!
