I had a very inexperienced and unconfident stylist. She wasn’t aware of how to formulate my color and it took her two and a half hours to place my foils and I have short to medium hair length. Additionally I was there almost 4 hours to complete my service. My blowout experience wasn’t good, the cord was across my face and she didn’t appear to be comfortable with her work area.
I mentioned when I booked that I needed a very experienced color specialist so was very taken aback by being placed with someone who was not. The toner used didn’t work and I had no desire to even mention it because I had already been there so long.
I have always used high end salons and products and was fully expecting to continue that by becoming a client at Indigo and was so excited to be there and am disappointed in my total experience. Maybe more mentoring or apprenticeship needs to be done with newer stylists. I certainly saw many stylists that seemed far more experienced and with better time management in the salon.

We would be happy to have the manager or one of our highest level colorists re-tone and blowout your hair for you at no charge, please contact the salon at 658-2010 to book that. It is our policy that all of our level one stylists consult with a level four stylist on what they are going to use for a formula and color placement, doing so helps ensure the desired outcome is achieved and doesn't mean that they are incapable of doing it themselves. I'm sorry that process was not properly explained to you and made you feel like the stylist was inconfident in her work.
