Amazing massage by Christoph - horrible customer service. My boyfriend booked a massage for me (this was a surprise) and provided them with his credit card information (which WAS notated on the account and verified by two other people after the mistake occurred). He asked them to put any charges on his card and this was re-confirmed when they called to confirm the appoint the day before.
I was elated and feeling so relaxed - felt grateful and happy that my boyfriend had planned this for me. Fast forward to checking out - they asked me for payment. I paid, and if you have any sense of what I even felt like at the time, this clearly was brought up to my boyfriend and he was just as upset with me because they completely ruined the entire experience. I left questioning why would my bf go to this extent and not make arrangements to pay...maybe it was a mistake...I could go on. This massage, btw was Sunday, Feb 4th. I called the salon to speak to a manager on Monday, the woman who answered the phone verified that my account was notated to charge my boyfriend's credit card. I was told it could take 24 hrs for the manager to call...24 hours later, NO CALL. I call back and another woman answered and asked details - she also verified what had been notated on my account.
Here we are, Thursday and the manager had the audacity to call to refund MY card and turn around and charge my boyfriend's card. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? How does that FIX the fact that they completely ruined the experience for me and my boyfriend. If you don't think that you would question why someone would go to the extent of booking a surprise massage for you and then have you pay then you are unique. The woman who charged my card and asked for payment was NOT the new person being trained, I know because she checked me in, so don't use that as an excuse. The least the salon/spa could of done is refund me. This place is a joke and I actually feel bad for the people who work there because they provided good service but I (and my boyfriend) will NEVER recommend or come back to this salon.
You should be ashamed - bad business and the worst management.
