Andre was a great therapist who focused on all my problem areas and was super easy to talk to. Enjoyed the sauna and beautiful facilities. Highly recommended and will be coming back!

Inconsistent service is an issue.

1) pool not open in the mornings with no notification and no sign (at least twice in 30 days). Security is left to explain what is going on.

2) One of the showers in the women’s locker room was broken for more than a week - nobody put a sign so women kept going in only to find out that it was not working.

3) No towels are stocked in the pool area - if someone forgets to bring a towel before getting in the pool they have to walk across the gym dripping water to get one.

4) I have found the door to the locker room closed after getting out of the pool in the evening. Locker room should stay open until at least half an hour after the pool closing time. What’s the rush?

My wife and I visited the SPA for a 60 minute massage and we both agreed it was one of the best massages we've had. The staff and facilities were excellent - we'll be back next time we are in town.

My massage therapist was magical and if I could take her home with me I would! You can tell she is truly dedicated to her craft and making people feel better/comfortable and relaxed. Also, all of the other staff members that I encountered during my time at the spa were very friendly and personable! I would definitely go back!

This spa was VERY lackluster for the price and the affiliation with the Intercontinental. There are limited “included” amenities beyond the sauna and the showers. The showers were covered in hair and had used razors/products left behind. The pool is part of the gym and thus accessible by all hotel guests. They put a mandatory 20% gratuity on your service, which in this situation did not warrant a gratuity that high. The massage therapist who conducted my prenatal massage seemed very anxious and inexperienced. She was also incredibly chatty during what is supposed to be a quiet and relaxing service, was 10 minutes late starting the service, complained that she’s been in “back to back” appointments all day and then ended by service 5 minutes before the end time. I basically received a 45 minute treatment when I paid for 60 minutes. The front desk staff were all new personnel, which is fine, but that also led to a lot of confusion and poor service. While it’s hard to call any spa experience bad, this is definitely the worst experience I’ve had at any spa which again is incredibly disappointing considering this is the Intercontinental and the prices are extreme.
