I have been a customer of Invidia for years because of Ben. There simply is no better.
The salon however, is not customer friendly. They have firm rules on how to use their gift cards, most importantly, it's extremely difficult to get appointments, and rather than the staff acting like they are trying to do everything they can to help you, they make it seem like it's your fault for not calling soon enough in advance.
One service they tout is "fringe benefits" meaning you can have your bangs trimmed at no cost. Watch out! You have to make an appointment for this seemingly days or weeks in advance too. I have butchered my own bangs so many times and Ben always cheerfully says, don't do that, just stop in! So, I called yesterday to see if Ben could trim my bangs; mind you this takes less than 3 minutes. I was told he didn't have any time for the next week! Anyone who has bangs and knows that once they need to be trimmed a week is like a month! Then later in the day I was driving by so I stopped in to see if anyone else could do it. The girl at the desk said all stylists were busy and could I come back in two hours. If you can't provide the service, don't offer it!
For the exorbitant prices they charge, and the unfriendly way they treat customers, I really would love to find a new salon, but because of Ben I'll continue to tolerate subpar service.
Ben is great and always does an amazing job.
With that having said, he is almost 100% booked each day and he really does not at times even have a spare minute. As such we do our best to provide bang trims at no cost as needed but to ensure that you can be fit in on a day it is recommended to book or alternatively have this done with any available stylists at the time. Sometimes there can be frustration with scheduling clients and the front desk bare the brunt of those difficult discussions because as with Ben many clients want to see him and he is in such demand that is is not easy unfortunately. We do recommend booking standing appointments which many of our client do so that this makes things easier. Please let us know if you would like us to arrange this.
