At the Center for Skin Surgery, Dr. Rotter thoughtfully consults with patients who wish to restore a youthful appearance, refine facial features or conceal skin imperfections. Dr. Rotter has been providing cosmetic facial surgery in Virginia for years.
Dr. Rotter's goal is to enhance patients' appearance, image and self-esteem.
Dr. Rotter completed two years of residency in general surgery, followed by a three-year dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, during which he became the Chief Resident in Dermatology. He was then awarded prestigious fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rotter is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). His extensive training and skin surgery experience, as well as a total understanding of the skin processes, separate him from other surgeons. At the center, he uses several different lasers. Each one produces distinct wavelengths of light and conveys a specific benefit. Dr. Rotter combines these lasers to offer the widest range of treatments possible and achieve the maximum benefit for his patients.
The Skin Cancer Outpatient Surgical Hospital opened in 2004. This ground level, state of the art surgical hospital center is designed and dedicated to skin cancer reconstructive surgery. In July of 2005 the Skin Cancer Outpatient Surgical Hospital became the first Virginia state licensed hospital dedicated to the treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Rotter, board certified in Dermatology, is thoroughly committed to continuing his education and to obtaining the most advanced laser systems. His training, his genuine caring attitude and his personal dedication to each patient combine to provide only the best cosmetic results.
