A little frustrating really. Not all of the staff is trained in knowing how to deal with insurance companies. I had to make an extra 45 minute drive to the office because one employee said that you had to have my group number which was nowhere on any of my paperwork from my insurance company. Then when I have made the special trip in to the office, another better informed employee tells me all you needed was my ID number and you can get the group number off the insurance website. Wow thank you for the opportunity to make a special trip in to your office! I know it is asking a lot, but please try taking a day, or week, or however long it takes to train all of your employees. I know you all have nothing to do ever so making a special 45 minute drive is not a problem for you, but it is for me. Perhaps you could start handing out gift certificates to gas stations, or just get your employees trained!
We are so sorry that you had such a frustrating interaction with one of our employees. We have recently combined the staff from 2 offices and are working as fast as we can to cross train everyone. Learning how to maneuver insurance companies is probably the hardest part of the job because every single company has different policies, ways to submit claims, and ways to get information from them.
