Unfortunately, to diagnose AC requires charging the system with a $12,000 machine, checking pressures and power to components. It usually takes at least an hour to diagnose. We are no different than any other reputable repair facility when it comes to inspection fees. We tell all customer upfront about are diagnostic fees if the repairs are declined, it is also posted in our wairing room. I'm sorry you feel we should work for free.
