My son’s last appointment was not a good experience. The Orthodontist assistant replaced my son’s rubber bands that adjust his bite and they moved the hooks and didn’t not inform him of this. Once we left he tried to put on his rubber bands for 30 minutes and was unsuccessful. Why didn’t she have him put them on while he was there? This should be common practice! So we took him back to the orthodontist the same day ( a total inconvenience) We explained my son having difficulty with the rubber bands, which he never had before. Well, this is when we were told she moved the hooks and also gave him the wrong size rubber bands to use. This is not acceptable! The Orthodontist himself should see patients more often himself rather than his assistants each visit. My daughter had braces with another orthodontist and he was the one that made adjustments each time. I understand having help but he should check patients himself every other month at the least!!
Another gripe I have with this practice is the billing and payment plans. On 2 occasions I was asked to make double payments over my original payment plan I was given when I signed the contract. They told me they didn’t know why this was showing up and I told them this was not the agreement I was given They told me I would have a new payment and accounting would contact me. Well I never heard from them it’s almost been a month and I even called twice about this matter and asked for a return call, no response! I wish I could go somewhere else but I have my son’s treatment invested here unfortunately! I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone!
