JP Automotive is and Independent Automotive Repair Facility. It started as a one man operation at the Westside Shell on September 1, 1990 by Jim Cruse. In 1994 Jim and Patty Cruse bought a lot from the Local Teamsters across the street from their original location. They built a brand new 3 bay shop and increased their staff to 3 Technicians. In 2004 Jim and Patty purchased the old Foley RV location where they remain today. They now have 5 bays and 7 employees to serve all of your automotive needs. JP Automotive is conveniently located in West Mount Vernon - 1/2 mile from the Skagit River Bridge, next door to the Mexico Cafe' and across the street from Skagit State Bank. 2010 will be their 20th year in business in West Mount Vernon. They share a building with Platinum Auto Brokers.

I broke a front tooth while vacationing more than 1200 miles from home. I went down to LaConner from our campground which was about 5 to 6 miles away to get a phone number off of their sign out front to see if I could call them the next day to make an appointment as it was after hours. I figured I would have to wait at least a week to get in. I saw a light on inside, knocked and they immediately let me in. They made an appointment for me for the next morning, Friday at 7:45 am. By 8: 30 I was done and out of the office to enjoy our day and weekend. AMAZING!! The staff and doctor were very professional, quick and very good.
