In all honesty I love this salon for a couple of reasons. It’s super clean and pretty efficient. Great location , great products. What I didn’t love was my latest experience which left me never wanting to go back again.
I am middle eastern making my hair very curly. I came in for a a trim. The stylist seemed to be very inexperienced with my hair type. I often straighten my hair so this was not a curly cut , it was cut dry and straight which should not be an issue. The cut came out very choppy and she was resistant in cutting as much off as I wanted. I did not want to add layers but layers were added. In addition to this, she failed to style my hair. When I asked if she would be able to fix it , she grew frustrated and insisted that I can “fix it” when I get home , and that she doesn’t “know my hair like I do” well excuse me, but I pay a $100 a trim for a level 2 or 3 stylist to know my hair as that’s literally your job and what you’re trained and there to do. She added that they are trained to style hair in a very particular way so there wasn’t much she could do to fix my hair. I left in bad condition and was too ashamed to even walk across the street to shop whole food with the way she left my hair. Very embarrassing, I felt neglected and it felt unfair.
