Working with Chris and Lil is always a pleasure but sometimes, I take them (and Jessica) for granted. I was out in Pennsylvania for my niece's wedding and my sister treated me to a pre-wedding styling at her favorite salon. Whatever my sister paid for it, it was too much. The day began with fog so I knew that whatever the stylist did, my hair would flop within an hour or so. I reminded her to be sure to use whatever product she needed to preserve the style. For whatever reason, she chose to minimize the potential of the weather to ruin my hair; unbeknownst to me at the time, this worked to my advantage. I showed her a photo of the style I wanted, not once, but THREE times but wound up with a blow out that I could have done in my hotel room. She had no clue what to do with my bangs and had to ask the advice of the owner who felt compelled to ask me if I always wore bangs. Net, I decided to cut my losses and returned to my hotel room and redid my hair. (Mercifully, I brought curling irons.) I opined to my husband that this would never happen at j. walker salon. Sometimes it's good to be reminded that once you experienced the best, nothing less will do.
