I do not like the policy that patients are being asked to ‘confirm’ their appointment ahead of time. I don’t mind being sent a reminder by text or by telephone but expecting patients to click on a link in a text message is going too far. Especially in this day and age when there is so many cyber security problems. I do appreciate the care I receive when in the office which is very good. It’s only this new policy that I do not like. So much so that I will change Dentists if it continues.
Hi Doug, the other options than following the link, which is to our automated system with a HIPPA secured cyber security, are that you press C to confirm to the text message you consensually subscribed to. The other option is to call our office back when we leave a courtesy reminder message.
